Registration will take place online via our online registration portals.
- All families will be charged a one-time registration fee of $40 per child. No refunds on the registration fee.
- There are two options to reserve your spot with Kids’ Camp:
- Option 1: You can pay your registration fee and the weekly amount per child, per number of weeks of attendance, upfront and in total.
- Example: $40 registration fee + $200 x # of weeks x # of children
- $40 + $200 x 8 x 1 = $1,840 upfront
- Option 2: You can pay your registration fee and a weekly deposit, and can then pay the remaining balance for each week by the Thursday prior to attendance.
- Example: $40 registration fee + $40 x # of weeks x # of children
- $40 + 40 x 8 x 1 = $360 upfront
- Each week would then result in paying the remaining balance of $160 by the Thursday prior to attendance.
- If a parent or guardian pays the deposit for each week, the remaining balance will be due the Thursday before the session starts. If payment has not been made the spot will be released to a child on the waiting list.
- Camp fees are per session, per child.
- No scholarships are offered at this time.
- No sibling discounts.
- No refunds on deposits or the registration fee.

Parking FAQ
Parking has always been a challenge for the Sun Devil Kids' Camp participants. Below are some FAQ's parents and guardians need to know about parking for the Sun Devil Kids' Camp.
Where can I park while I drop-off or pick-up my child for the Polytechnic Sun Devil Kids' Camp?
Camp is held almost exclusively at the Polytechnic Sun Devil Fitness Complex (SDFC). For registrations or quick drop-offs and pick-ups, we recommend families use the Polytechnic Red Lot 10. To visit with your children or for longer stops at camp, we recommend using Polytechnic Lot 10 Visitor Parking.
- Polytechnic Red Lot 10 is located between the Student Union and the SDFC, just east of the intersections of Texas Ave. and Tweet St. Parking spaces have been set aside for camp along the southeast side of lot 10 (along the retention basin and marked with signage) for up to 20 minutes. Any parking over that amount may receive a citation.
- Polytechnic Lot 10 Visitor Parking is located just west of Red Lot 10. It is two ($2) dollars per hour, payable at the pay station located in the lot next to the Student Union. Please note that entry to this lot depends on availability; demand tends to be lower during the summer months but may increase due to other campus events.
Where can I park while I drop-off or pick-up my child for the Tempe Sun Devil Kids' Camps?
- Apache parking structure: This parking structure is west of the SDFC, on Normal Ave. and Apache Blvd. During camp, you can park in the Apache Blvd. structure for up to 30 minutes, free of charge. When you pull up to the parking structure, you will receive a ticket from the gate and insert it into the machine at the gate, when you leave the parking structure. The gate will open as long as you were in the parking structure for less than 30 minutes.
- Yellow curb: There is a yellow curb directly to the south of the SDFC with roughly enough space for two cars to park. This is a 20-minute loading zone monitored by ASU Parking and Transit Services.
Where is parking not permitted for drop-off and pick-up for the Tempe Sun Devil Kids' Camps?
- Parking is not permitted in any red curb area. This is an emergency lane violation subject to a fine.
- What happens if I get a citation from ASU Police or ASU Parking and Transit Services?
- To pay a citation: payment process and details can be found at cfo.asu.edu/parking-citations.
- To appeal a citation: appeal process and information can be found at cfo.asu.edu/appeals.
- Can you clarify the violations associated with the red curb parking and the yellow curb rules?
- Red curb violations
- CODE 17 Emergency Lane Violation. Parking in a no-parking area or red curb, drive or driveway, designated for emergency or service vehicles including green curbs or red curbs at any time. $100-$250
- Yellow curb violations
- CODE 18 Loading Zone Violation. Parking in a loading zone (yellow curb) for any reason beyond the 20-minute time period (at any time). $30-$100
- Red curb violations
Please note that the fine amounts escalate for some violations as additional violations are incurred which is why you see a range for the citation amount.
The Sun Devil Kids' Camp program is not responsible for any citations families receive while parking for the Sun Devil Kids' Camp. The Sun Devil Kids' Camp and the department of Campus Recreation cannot pay for a citation or appeal a citation on the behalf of Sun Devil Kids' Camp participants.
