Are any teams free?

The intramurals sports program does have partnerships with several organizations on campus that will "sponsor" teams and cover the entry fees for participants affiliated with their groups... meaning your team can sign up with no registration cost to you! This is a great opportunity for thousands of students to participate in intramural sports and promote involvement throughout many academic and residential life groups. We highly encourage students that are eligible to take full advantage of this opportunity! There are a few differences between these teams and non-sponsored teams:

1. You need to specify that your team is a part of the particular organization when registering the team at the intramural sports desk.
2. Your team roster will be verified by the appropriate groups to ensure that all team members are part of the sponsoring organization. If a team member is found to not be affiliated with that group, he/she will be dropped from the team. If more than one player is found to not be affiliated with that group, your team captain will be charged the sport registration fee. If you wish to have any players on your team who are not part of the sponsoring organization, you must pay the full registration fee.
3. Your team's initial roster will be locked for the entire sport season, including playoffs. Please fill up as many team spots as possible on your initial roster, as you will not be able to make changes after your first game.

Listed below are the organizations and qualifications required for a sponsored team:
Residence Halls: If your entire team lives in a residential hall on campus.
W.P. Carey: If your entire team is in the W.P. Carey School of Business.
Ira A. Fulton: If your entire team is in the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering.
