Sponsorship and Vendor Information
The Sun Devil Fitness Complex is one of the most popular spots on campus and serves over 5,000 students, employees and ASU community members per day. Due to its overwhelming popularity and unique access to the collegiate market, the Sun Devil Fitness Complex is a popular place for businesses to promote their products and services.
Sponsorship guidelines
Outside companies interested in promoting their products are permitted into the Sun Devil Fitness Complex if they:
- rent space in the lobby or on the fields or if
- are considered a sponsor of a Sun Devil Fitness Complex program.
Sponsorships can be defined as a company supporting an event, activity or organization by providing money or other resources. This is usually in return for advertising space or product sampling at the event, or as part of the publicity for the event.
If you are interested in renting the lobby or field please contact Phillip.Carter.1@asu.edu.
Sport Clubs or other ASU organizations do not have the ability to rent the Sun Devil Fitness Complex for outside businesses or offer space at ASU events, however if through existing relationships sport clubs refer a company to rent space or sponsor the club then 75% of the revenue will be paid to the club and 25% will go to the Sun Devil Fitness Complex.
Companies interested in promoting their product at the Sun Devil Fitness Complex, including those using student ambassadors, are required to submit a certificate of insurance (COI) with the language provided below.
"The User agrees to obtain a single-limit public liability insurance policy in which User is named as insured and Arizona State University, Arizona Board of Regents, and the State of Arizona are named as additional insureds in the amount of $1,000,000 covering bodily injury, including death, and property damage, and shall provide a copy of the certification of insurance."
The certificate holder is:
Arizona State University
PO Box 871412
Tempe, AZ 85287
We recognize that many companies utilize student ambassadors to promote their products. Please note student ambassadors are not permitted to hand out products in the Sun Devil Fitness Complex or at Sun Devil Fitness Complex events, including sport club practices, without the parent company taking appropriate rental or sponsorship steps.
