The pool is 70 meters X 25 yards. It's depth ranges from 3.5 feet to 9.5 feet. The Tempe pool is split into three areas (East, Center and West). The center section is reserved for lap swimming is not generally available for reservation.

Tempe Campus West Pool
Features:
The West pool is located on the South side of the Sun Devil Fitness Complex.
The West pool area is 25 yards by 25 yards. It is 8’ to 9’ deep.
The area can be set up with 8 lap swimming lanes or set up for water polo.
Water polo goals are available for a fee.
Water is kept between 78 and 82 degrees year round.
Please note this pool area has very little shade available.
Rental Costs:
Student Organization - $20.00/hour (plus staffing and supply charges)
University Department - $40.00/hour (plus staffing and supply charges)
Community Group - $45.00/hour (plus staffing and supply charges)
Perfect for: swim team rentals, synchronized swimming, inner tube water polo, and games.
Tempe Campus East Pool
Features:
The Campus Recreation East pool is located on the South side of the Sun Devil Fitness Complex.
The East pool area is 25 yards by 20 yards. It is 4’ to 6’ deep.
Pool chairs may be reserved for groups renting the shallow pool area.
An upper balcony looking over the pool may be available for rentals wanting to serve food at a function. Food and drink may be served in designated areas during pool functions.
The area can be set up with 4 lap swimming lanes or set up for open recreation.
Water basketball and volleyball are available.
Water is kept between 78 and 82 degrees year round.
