Safety Education

The Sun Devil Fitness and Wellness Complex is now offering American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Adult First Aid/CPR/AED courses to ASU affiliated students, staff, and faculty. In order to provide a safe class experience we are following all ASU and American Red Cross guidelines for lowering the risk of disease transmission during our classes including, but not limited to:

  • Limiting the class size to 10 people
  • Teaching in a well ventilated classroom
  • Requiring masks at all times unless practicing ventilations on a CPR Manikin
  • Enforcing physcial distancing at all times
  • Sanitizing all class materials before, during and after our classes
  • Teaching in a Blended Learning format to decrease in-person learning time

All participants are required to bring their own mask to class and provide proof of completion of their ASU Daily Health Check upon entering the SDFWC.

This teaching format decreases the amount of in-person learning required for certification.
